Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 15 oz chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional for heat
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Dry Chickpeas: After rinsing the chickpeas, pat them dry with a clean towel. This step helps them get extra crispy.
  3. Season Chickpeas: In a large bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper until well-coated.
  4. Roast: Spread the chickpeas evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the chickpeas are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Cool & Serve: Let the chickpeas cool slightly before serving. They can be enjoyed as a snack, salad topper, or even in wraps!
